Position: BUILDING SURVEYOR

Bachelor of Construction Management

Kamil started his journey in building surveying in 2020 at a private company in South Australia where he was exposed to a wide range of building works applications. After his initial exposure in the private sector, Kamil joined the Alexandrina Council as a building surveyor and an informal member of the Alexandrina Council Building Fire Safety Committee. Due to his work ethic, he was then promoted to the position of senior building surveyor.

As a result of his combined experience with the private sector and local government, he has a firm understanding of the relevant legislation pertaining to development in South Australia and has experience with assessments and inspections of both domestic and commercial building works.

Kamil is passionate about building safety, particularly building fire safety. He is motivated in assisting clients with understanding the requirements of building works.

Since joining Tecon, Kamil’s main role has been to assist the NT team, and as such, he has now familiarised himself with the NT Building Act and Regulations. He has been exposed to several larger building assessments including hospitals, works on Airport Land, as well as alterations to an existing multistorey hotel in Darwin.

Significant projects …a solid track record.
